Admission & Discharge
Planned admission
For planned admissions, your doctor's team will tell you the date, fasting instructions if any, and what to bring: ID, insurance documents, current medicines and previous reports. If you are using insurance, the pre-authorisation process should ideally begin 3–5 days before admission — our insurance desk will guide you.
During your stay
On admission you will receive an identification band — please wear it throughout your stay; it is checked before every medication and procedure for your safety. Nursing staff will explain the daily routine, meal arrangements and visiting guidance. One attendant can usually stay with the patient.
Discharge
Discharge is planned, not abrupt. Before you leave you will receive a discharge summary, a medicine chart explained to you and your attendant, wound-care or activity instructions where relevant, and your follow-up date. Please confirm you understand the medicine schedule before leaving — ask us to repeat it if anything is unclear.
Billing
Your final bill is itemised. If any charge is unclear, ask the billing desk before payment — we would rather explain a bill than have you wonder about it. Insurance patients receive the documents needed for any reimbursable portion.
